The College of Art and Design's MFA in Visual Arts at Lesley University is one of the oldest and most established residency-based MFA's in the USA. The low residency program in Boston is a theoretical education combined with practical studio work. The studio work will then be directly connected to demonstration projects in the firm. Laurie Vestøl, landscape architect and founder of Urban Space Lab AS, will explore the integration of a variety of visual arts media in the context of Telemark Norway. More precisely the archipelago in the Langesundsfjord.
Laurie was a part of the landscape architecture team at Sundt & Thomassen AS.
Laurie has collaborated with Skien high school and Arhus farm coop to establish an urban farming project.
